A new issue of Sol de Cuba magazine, published by the Ministry of Tourism, coincides with the peak tourist season in the Cuba, when the warm Caribbean sun embraces those who come to discover the largest archipelago in the region.

In the magazine’s editorial, Minister of Tourism Juan Carlos García Granda notes that 2025 will be remembered “as a challenging period for tourism in Cuba. International circumstances,  economic recovery, and the effects of Hurricane Melissa tested our resilience.”

“However,” he adds, “it was also a year of learning, unity, and reaffirmation of our commitment to a sector vital to the country’s development.”

The minister also highlights the significance of the “You Are the Destination” communications campaign, which seeks to emphasize the dedication and human experience behind every trip.

Sol de Cuba is also preparing to share information about the destination at the Venezuela International Tourism Fair (FITVEN) 2025, running from November 28 through December 1, an event that represents the epicenter of national and international tourism investment and innovation.

The anniversaries of iconic establishments such as the Hotel Nacional de Cuba, now 95 years old, and the Hotel Inglaterra, approaching its 150th anniversary, are among the features of the new edition, which also addresses important new developments and the presentation of destinations such as Starfish Beach, Cayo Santa María, and the sunrise or sunset experience at Las Salinas de Brito, in the Zapata Swamp, a Biosphere Reserve and Ramsar Site, located in southern Cuba.
