The Palmares Extra-Hotel Company celebrated its 21st anniversary this November 1st. Founded in 2004, its mission is to provide national and international tourists with recreational and gastronomic experiences that connect them with Cuba’s history, culture and nature.
With 17 branches, three of them in Havana and the rest located in other provinces, Palmares manages approximately 678 facilities, offering a wide range of products and services.
A message from the company’s management, shared on social media, describes this as “a special moment that invites us to reflect on the journey so far and the achievements attained over these years.”
The statement adds a heartfelt thank you to each of its employees, “fundamental to our growth and success,” through their commitment and professionalism.
“Over these 21 years, we have faced challenges, but we have also reaped countless achievements that have been a source of great satisfaction. Together, we have built a history full of contributions, pride and successes, distinguishing ourselves by offering quality services to tourists and our entire community, as well as the warmth and hospitality that characterizes our team,” the statement continues.
Palmares S.A., an extra-hotel tourism company, has a diverse business portfolio encompassing nature tourism, sports tourism, arts and entertainment, restaurants, event and convention centers, fast-food establishments, franchises of major Cuban brands, lodging and specialty retail, among others.
It also manages a group of highly sought-after properties. Located in Pinar del Río, Havana, Ciego de Ávila and Camagüey, these properties feature rural farms where guests can enjoy horseback riding, learn about rural culture and participate in a traditional Cuban celebration, among many other options that offer direct contact with nature.
According to the company website, its dolphinariums located in Varadero, Cienfuegos and Cayo Guillermo offer visitors the opportunity to learn about the care and lifestyle of these incredible mammals, watch a fabulous show, and even interact with them.
