Hundreds of tour operators and travel agencies from around the world have confirmed their interest in the 44th edition of the International Tourism Fair (FitCuba 2026), to be held from May 7 to 9, according to the Cuban News Agency (ACN).

Data from the online registration platform https://fitcuba.fevexpo.cu leads tourism experts to believe that participation could be higher than at in-person events, including tour operators and travel agencies that have never participated before.

Yadira Ramírez, director of Communications for the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur), explained that  the FitCuba 2026 program is available on the platform, where participants and exhibitors can also register. During the event, this site will allow visitors to explore the fair’s booths, visit the presentation hall, participate in gastronomy and cocktail competitions, and discover that Cuba is much more than just sun and sand.

This week, both Cuban and international companies have announced on social media their intention to share new products and services during the fair. Groups such as Cubanacán, Cubasol, Gran Caribe, Gaviota, Islazul, Havanatur, and many other Cuban entities in the sector have invited visitors to explore their virtual booths, where they will showcase their wide range of offerings.

According to official Mintur sources, as part of FitCuba, the launch of the event that will close the 2026 summer season will take place on May 8 and 9 in Varadero’s Josone Park. Actors Edith Masola and Ray Cruz will host the show, which will feature Cuban artists such as Isaac Delgado, Los Muñequitos de Matanzas, Maykel Blanco y su Salsa Mayor, Melanie Santiller, Buena Fe, Los Van Van, Wampi, and DJ Flakiton.
