Weather in Cuba: This week, good weather is your friend

Cuba is a popular tourist destination year-round. If you plan to visit the island between October 20 and 26, here’s a weather forecast for the main tourist destinations of Pinar del Río, Havana, Matanzas, Trinidad, Holguín and Santiago de Cuba.

Pinar del Río

Temperature: 25°C to 30°C

Mostly sunny days with scattered clouds are expected. The chance of rain is low, allowing you to enjoy the stunning views of the Viñales Valley.

Havana

Temperature: 24°C to 32°C

The Cuban capital will experience warm and humid weather. During the week, there will be periods of sun and clouds, with some chance of light rain, especially in the afternoon. Don’t forget to bring an umbrella just in case.

Matanzas

In Matanzas, the weather will be similar to that of Havana, with warm days and some clouds. Rain will be rare, but could occur in the afternoon. This is a good time to explore the beaches of Varadero.

Trinidad

Conditions: Trinidad will enjoy warm weather with mostly clear skies. Evenings will be pleasant, perfect for strolling the cobblestone streets of this colonial city. The chances of rain are minimal.

Holguín

Temperature: 24°C to 31°C

Holguín will experience warm and sunny weather, ideal for enjoying its beautiful beaches and natural parks. Temperatures will remain pleasant during the day, and nights will be cool, perfect for outdoor activities.

Santiago de Cuba

Temperature: 24°C to 32°C

In Santiago de Cuba, warm weather is expected with some clouds on the horizon. The chances of rain are low, allowing you to enjoy the city’s vibrant culture and music. Nighttime temperatures will be comfortable.

Recommendations

Clothing: Bring light, comfortable clothing, as well as a sweater or jacket for cooler evenings.
