Varadero Gourmet 2025: Unlimited flavors

Cuba’s gastronomic calendar once again gains prestige with the celebration of the Varadero Gourmet International Festival 2025 from September 11 through 13 at the Plaza América Convention Center.

Chefs, culinary experts and food lovers from around the world will have the opportunity to gather on this beautiful Caribbean island to reflect on various topics under the umbrella of the following theme: “Unlimited Flavors: The Magic of Functional Cuisine with a Cuban Soul.”

The program will include workshops, tastings, competitions, and presentations by renowned chefs, according to the call for entries published by the Empresa Extrahotelera Palmares S.A., which highlights the opportunity to explore new culinary trends and enjoy the best of Cuban and Caribbean cuisine.

This year, in addition to the gastronomic activities, cultural exchanges and the promotion of local products will be encouraged, contributing to the sustainable development of tourism in the region.

As is traditional, a wide variety of culinary categories will be awarded at the closing ceremony, including the award for best service and in the categories dedicated to best dessert, hot and cold appetizers, main course, entertainment, and the preparation of the best cocktails in classic and flair styles.

The 2024 edition featured representatives from nine nations with 27 exhibitors.
