¡Mira como vengo! More than 30 concerts in Varadero from August 25 through 31

Top artists and bands from Cuba and countries such as Colombia, Spain, and Argentina will gather at the 5th Varadero Josone Festival

Rumba, jazz, and son will blend together like a musical cocktail to welcome the 5th Varadero Josone Festival from August 25 through 31, in the famous Cuban beach resort, the event’s Organizing Committee announced.

Top artists and bands from Cuba and countries such as Colombia, Spain, and Argentina will gather in Josone Park to delight the music-loving public every night.

Under the slogan ¡Mira como vengo! (Check me out!), more than 30 concerts, DJ sets, and a blend of diverse genres are expected on stage, as announced by Issac Delgado, founder and president of the festival.

From the national scene, performances are expected by Moncada, Los Muñequitos de Matanzas, Issac Delgado, Alexander Abreu and Havana D’Primera, Cándido Fabré, Los Van Van, Maykel Blanco y su Salsa Mayor, Alain Pérez, Roberto Fonseca, Haila María Mompié, Raúl Paz, David Torrens and David Blanco, among many others.

Meanwhile, the international roster includes, among others, the Manyoma Brothers group (Colombia), Rodrigo Sosa “La Quenística” (Argentina), and Big Lois (Spain), a leading figure in urban flamenco.

Tickets are now available to the national and international public at the Casa de la Música Habana, the Casa de la Música de Miramar, and the Agencia Paradiso. They can also be purchased through the La Papeleta app.

The Varadero Josone Festival pays tribute to the highlights of Cuban musical identity, adapting to current times and without sacrificing the quality and artistic rigor that the public deserves.

The event is organized by the National Center for Popular Music, the Cuban Institute of Music, and the Música Punto Cero project; with the sponsorship of the Ministries of Culture and Tourism, and the Matanzas Provincial Directorate of Culture.
