Cuban Minister of Tourism, Juan Carlos García Granda, is leading the island’s delegation attending the World Travel Market – WTM London, from November 4-6. This is one of the world’s most important professional events, with more than 5,000 destinations represented this year.

The Cuban Embassy in the United Kingdom posted on social media that the event represents “an opportunity to continue strengthening relations with key partners in the British and European markets, as well as to promote the latest developments and opportunities offered by Cuba as a destination.”

As part of his work agenda, García Granda is participating in the WTM Ministers’ Summit, organized in partnership with UN Tourism and the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).

Likewise, during the three days of the fair, the minister and his delegation will carry out an intensive work program that will include meetings with executives from the main tour operators, travel agencies and airlines that operate in the country. They will analyze the performance of the Cuban tourism market, forecasts for 2026, and new opportunities for cooperation.

Meetings are also planned with key organizations in the British tourism industry and with the Cuba Initiative (member of The Caribbean Council). Meanwhile, the Cuban delegation will hold meetings with specialized media outlets and participate in specific events to promote Cuba as a destination.

A significant group of Cuban and foreign hotel chains operating on the island is attending this international event, where they occupy booth S6-400.

On social media, the official account of the Ministry of Tourism highlights that this opportunity represents recognition “of the heart and soul of a country where history, music, architecture and the warmth of its people create a unique experience.”

WTM London 2025 is the largest edition to date, with global participation and innovations from across the travel industry.
