The Caracol S.A. Commercial Company, along with its Specialized Branch, opened its doors to loyal Friends and Clients of the Casa del Habano Partagás, who gathered to celebrate the 38th edition of the cigar brand’s traditional annual gathering, which this year was inaugurated at the Casa de la Amistad in Havana.
More than 200 cigar enthusiasts, from all corners of the globe, are participating in a program that combines the best of cigar culture with exclusive dinners, artistic performances, tours of emblematic sites, beach and countryside outings, raffles and auctions that always generate enthusiasm among attendees.
René Valdés, manager of the Casa del Habano Partagás, kicked off the evening with the much-anticipated welcome toast. “Here we are all friends, more than friends: brothers. I invite you to enjoy a week of good cigars, and may love always be our guide. As we say: Partagás and nothing else,” he said, inviting everyone to raise their glasses with Ron Cubay 1870 Extra Añejo, a gem of Cuba Ron S.A.
In a hall in one of the most beautiful residences in the country, an exhibition of cigar memorabilia was inaugurated to commemorate the 180th anniversary of the Partagás brand. Maylet Uranga, president of the Cuban Cigar Collectors Association, and Roberto Delgado, a collector and friend of the Casa, invited guests to tour the exhibition, which features unique pieces from 12 national collectors.

Luis Felipe Canitrot, director of the Caracol Specialized Commercial Branch, highlighted in a press conference that participation has grown steadily over the last five years and emphasized the importance of the Casa del Habano Partagás, which accounts for 40% of the company’s revenue. “More than 90% of attendees are loyal customers who return every year,” he noted.
Meanwhile, Lin Fong Barrueto, Marketing director of Caracol S.A., emphasized that this event is the most important organized by the institution, which belongs to the Cubasol Business Group, and that it has served as inspiration for other events dedicated to Cuba’s premium products: tobacco, rum and coffee.
