Destinos Gaviota 2026 will be held in Varadero, Cuba’s most famous tourist resort, announced Carlos M. Latuff, president of the Gaviota Tourism Group, at the closing of the seventh edition.

From Cayo Santa María, the executive announced that the new features that will surprise visitors from September 13 to 17 of next year on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean are already being prepared.

During the closing gala of this tourism trade fair, Latuff thanked those who made the event possible, which was attended by a record number of more than 3,000 guests. He described it not only as a professional gathering, but as “a symbol of strength, unity and hope,” as everyone experienced the rebirth of Cayo Santa María, a hidden paradise where “we shared unforgettable experiences, explored our beaches, tasted the richness of our cuisine, experienced the culture that defines us, and confirmed once again that Cuban hospitality is incredible.”

He also invited everyone to check out the 2025-2026 events calendar, “with a program designed to provide a year-round Cuban experience through culture, music, sports and tradition,” he noted.

“This calendar is a permanent invitation to return for all of you and anyone you wish to bring. We will welcome you here with kindness and open arms, full of love, to discover and enjoy the diversity and richness of our island,” he added.
