Havana Club International S.A. is participating in the 15th edition of the Varadero Gourmet Festival 2025, a platform to reaffirm the flexibility and dynamic nature of El Ron de Cuba.
The event is presented as a platform to showcase the depth of this cultural icon, which encapsulates the essence of the island in every drop.
The Festival also serves as a showcase to reveal innovative facets of the distinctive launches in its portfolio. Highlights include Havana Club Profundo, the brand’s first aged white rum in the Super Premium category; Cuban Spiced, its initial spiced spirit; and Smoky, a limited edition featuring a unique smoky profile. These are joined by the brand’s fundamental spirit: Havana Club Añejo 7 Años.
The event is also an opportunity to share the passion for Cuban light rum and strengthen ties with aficionados and experts in the field.
As part of the 15th Varadero Gourmet International Festival, Havana Club International is partnering with key partners, such as the Varadero 60 restaurant, which specializes in charcoal cooking.
Located in Cuba’s most important beach resort and on the stage of La Casa del Habano Monarco, the restaurant paired two cocktails made with Havana Club Añejo 7 años and Havana Club Cuban Smoky, designed to discover new combinations between rums and avant-garde Cuban cuisine.
Another key event was the Champions Bar, a high-level segment that showcased the contributions of the most outstanding Cuban bartenders of the past year. This demonstration of mastery in reinventing classic cocktails also featured other prestigious brands in the Pernod Ricard portfolio, such as Jameson, Beefeater and Olmeca Altos.
This gathering of talents became a true celebration of the art of cocktail making, fostering maximum innovation. It was also another example of the organization’s firm commitment to sustainable and responsible practices.
