Varadero, recognized as one of the most iconic tourist destinations in the Caribbean, not only captivates with its beaches, but is also establishing itself as an ideal location for hosting high-level events.

The Varadero Josone Festival: Rumba, Jazz, and Son is currently taking place in Josone Park in this coastal city located on the Hicacos Peninsula.

For musician Isaac Delgado, president and founder of the event, the idea was always to create a festival with a single venue and in a setting like this, in addition to the fact that a large number of domestic and international tourists arrive at this destination in August.

Víctor Rodríguez, director of the National Center for Popular Music, agrees that the event represents a major attraction for visitors, and that is why the call for entries for the 2026 festival will be launched on Sunday, August 31, with the aim of attracting as many participants as possible.

Under the slogan ¡Mira cómo vengo! (Check me out!), since the 25th of this month, Josone has been and will continue to be the epicenter of a wide variety of musical styles and genres on a single stage, featuring groups and solo artists such as Formell y Los Van Van, Nube Roja, JG, El Micha, Alain Pérez, Charly y Johayron, and Issac Delgado himself.

A wide range of luxury hotels and resorts, local cuisine influenced by Caribbean and international flavors, and easy air and land connectivity for nationals and foreigners stand out as some of the area’s advantages.

Varadero is not just a tourist destination; it is the place where events come to life in an unparalleled setting. Its combination of infrastructure, services, sustainability, and natural beauty make it the ideal choice for those seeking unforgettable experiences.
