The Cubanacán Hotel Group announced the second edition of the “Motivos Cubanacán” event in November, which will be dedicated to exploring and enhancing travel opportunities in the eastern part of the country. The announcement was made by Yaima Suárez, vice president of the company, at the event organized to celebrate the 38th anniversary of the hotel chain.

“It will be an opportunity to rediscover together a region rich in culture, history, music, and nature; and to strengthen our offers in an increasingly competitive market,” she emphasized.

Suárez also reported that, in order to meet the expectations of potential, loyal, and operator clients, Cubanacán is working on an improvement plan for the 2025-2026 winter season, to showcase a renewed hotel product with a better image.

In this regard, she specified that food and beverage standards and corporate menus are being reviewed. She also announced that the all-inclusive service at the Playa Girón hotel in the Peninsula de Zapata Natural Park will be reinstated.

“For 38 years, we have created memorable experiences alongside a group of tourism professionals committed to excellence. Cubanacán, the best way to discover Cuba, has 118 hotels with over 17,000 rooms, located both in natural settings and in cities in the country’s main tourist destinations. We have developed various brands that integrate sun and beach products, nature, culture and tradition. And we have done so with a vision of offering high-quality, sustainable, safe and distinctive tourism services,” the vice president explained.

She also highlighted the company’s innovative approach and its international alliances with prestigious hotel chains such as Meliá, Iberostar, Blue Diamond, Blau, Muthu, and other business partners. “These partnerships and our joint ventures reflect the confidence in our management model and in Cuba’s potential as a tourist destination,” she stated.

The Cubanacán Hotel Group was created by the historical leader of the Cuban revolution, Fidel Castro, on August 5, 1987, to showcase the country’s natural beauty, vibrant culture and hospitality to the world.

The celebratory evening took place in the modern Capitol Leven section of the Hotel Iberostar Selection Parque Central.
