Cuba is participating in the 63rd edition of TTG Travel Experience—one of Italy’s premier professional international tourism events—taking place from October 14 to 16 at the Rimini Expo Centre, according to the Caribbean nation’s embassy in Italy.

During the event, Cuban Tourism Counselor, Yanet Mora, is meeting with tour operators, travel agencies, airlines (such as Neos and Air Europa), and other sector professionals. The objective is to showcase the attractions and potential of Cuba as a destination, explore new promotional and commercial opportunities, and solidify relationships with key players in the Italian tourism industry.

According to the report, these exchanges also provide an opportunity to share updated information on the economic and social transformations the country is undertaking to modernize its economic model—with a particular focus on the tourism sector—as well as to discuss the current situation and the challenges stemming from the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States government. This impact has been further exacerbated by the intensification of unilateral coercive measures throughout 2026.

TTG Travel Experience serves as a strategic forum for interaction among destinations, tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and other stakeholders within the international tourism value chain. This year’s edition is centered on the theme “EXIST,” which highlights the human experience, authenticity, and the value of relationships, all within a context of profound technological and social transformation. Following this vision, Cuba offers a tourism experience that goes beyond the traditional “sun and beach” product. It combines a wealth of historical and cultural heritage, diverse natural landscapes, local traditions, music, and national identity—all complemented by the hospitality of its people, a hallmark of the experience for those who visit the island.

Despite the challenges it faces, Cuba remains open to tourism and is eager to expand cooperation with international companies and professionals, grounded in mutual respect and cross-cultural exchange.

Cuba’s participation in TTG Travel Experience 2026 reaffirms its commitment to strengthening ties with the Italian market and solidifying the island’s position as a diverse, authentic, and welcoming destination—one where culture, history, nature, and human connection come together to create a unique tourism offering.
