New issue of Sol de Cuba magazine accompanies FITCUBA 2026
An open window to experiences and opportunities on the island

Interesting articles, reports from captivating locations, and numerous new features are included in the new edition of Sol de Cuba magazine, published by the Ministry of Tourism, which is available starting today in conjunction with the 44th edition of the International Tourism Fair (FITCUBA).
In the editorial, Minister of Tourism Juan Carlos García Granda describes the latest issue of Sol de Cuba as “an open window to experiences and opportunities that can only be found in our country,” and adds that, “in the midst of a complex environment that challenges our creativity and capabilities, Cuba reaffirms its commitment as a diverse tourist destination, where natural, heritage and cultural values converge to define our identity.”
He confirms that tourism operations remain active, with a program of measures aimed at guaranteeing the quality and sustainability of infrastructure. Currently, maintenance and improvement work is being carried out on hotel and other tourist facilities as initiatives for the preservation of natural resources, the protection of beaches and ecosystems, and the strengthening of tourism services, all of which reflects a continuous commitment to excellence.
Published by the Publicitur S.A. Communication Agency, this fifth issue of the magazine includes 16 articles showcasing the wonders of different locations, this time in the western part of the island. Highlights include interviews with Lessner Gómez, director general of Marketing at the Ministry of Tourism, and engineer Pavel Pavón Vargas, director of Technologies and Systems; an in-depth article on new opportunities in the sector for Cubans living abroad; as well as information related to pet-friendly offerings on the island and other products of great interest to visitors from around the world.
