Cuba’s event calendar and updated information on the FITCUBA 2026 Tourism Fair were presented at the Cuban Embassy in Mexico during a meeting with tour operators, wholesale agencies, and specialized press.
Cuban Ambassador, Eugenio Martínez, along with Johana Tablada, deputy head of the diplomatic mission, presided over the meeting, which addressed the conditions and opportunities that, even amidst the difficult situation the nation is facing, are guaranteed to protect the development of tourism.
Martínez noted that Cuba and its wonderful people continue to offer a unique experience to visitors, especially Mexican citizens, whose people warmly support Cuba and are welcomed in return.
Furthermore, the continued operation of daily flights from Mexico to Cuba from four cities (Mexico City, Cancún, Mérida, and Monterrey) with 21 weekly flights was confirmed.
As part of the event, Tourism Counselor Aleinor Zerquera and representatives from the Presencia Latinoamericana Company (Prelasa), which offers opportunities to experience the diverse artistic and cultural expressions of the island through various events, were in attendance.
