Cuban delegation participates in Kazakhstan Tourism Exhibition

Exchanges with tourism industry figures, airlines and collaborators marked the first day of work for the Cuban delegation participating in the Kazakhstan International Tourism Exhibition (KITF), held at the Atakent Expo in the Kazakh capital.
Tourism Counselor for Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States, Cristina León, explained to Prensa Latina that during the event, which runs until Friday, April 24, Cuba is promoting its tourism market potential and actively participating alongside other exhibitors and tourism professionals from various countries in conferences, master classes and talks, under the theme “Tourism in the Context of Geopolitical Risks.”
The news agency also details that KITF 2026 is distinguished by its scale and broad international representation, with 414 companies from 24 countries participating.
Representatives from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Vietnam, Georgia, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, China, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Romania, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Montenegro, Sri Lanka, South Korea and Japan are present.
