Four Meliá Cuba hotels receive HolidayCheck Awards
The distinction confirms the excellent standing of Meliá Cuba hotels among travelers from countries such as Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Four properties managed by Meliá Hotels International Cuba received the 2026 HolidayCheck Award, placing them among the best options for travelers from German-speaking countries.
These are the award-winning hotels:
Meliá Trinidad Península, with an overall rating of 5.6 (out of a maximum of 6). This modern hotel, located on María Aguilar Beach on the Ancón Peninsula, stands out for its welcoming facilities for groups, couples and families; its exclusive adults-only The Level area; and its self-sufficient energy design.
Meliá Las Américas, with an overall rating of 5.1. This adults-only property is located in Varadero with direct access to the golf course. It’s ideal for sports enthusiasts, weddings and honeymoons, and features The Level area with personalized services.
Paradisus Princesa del Mar, with an overall rating of 4.7, is also geared towards adult guests, offering luxury beachfront accommodation in Varadero. Its YHI Spa, event facilities, and exclusive Royal Service make it a favorite among vacationers.
Sol Río de Luna y Mares, with an overall rating of 4.7, is a family-friendly oasis just steps from Playa Esmeralda in Holguín, surrounded by the stunning natural environment of Bahía de Naranjo Natural Park.
The awards are based on reviews submitted by HolidayCheck users between December 1, 2024, and November 30, 2025, for trips taken during that period. From each region, only 10 facilities achieve the HolidayCheck Award each year, which confirms the excellent positioning of Meliá Cuba hotels among travelers from nations such as Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
