Information circulating on certain digital media outlets regarding an alleged fuel shortage in Cuba is false, the Cuban Ministry of Tourism reported on social media.
“The Cuban Petroleum Union (CUPET) has confirmed that fuel supplies to the country’s service station network have not been interrupted,” the Ministry stated.
The statement also reiterated that the Ministry of Tourism is not involved in fuel distribution, so any information on this matter should be obtained solely from official CUPET channels and national news outlets.
