The next few days in Cuba will bring a typical tropical weather pattern: sunny days, cool mornings, and some scattered showers, especially in the afternoon. If you’re planning a trip to the island, here’s what to expect so you can organize your excursions without any surprises.

Western region

The western provinces will enjoy pleasant temperatures, between 24°C and 30°C, with cool nights perfect for strolls under the stars. Sea breezes will moderate the heat in coastal areas like Varadero. However, isolated showers are expected toward the end of the afternoon, especially in inland areas. It’s advisable to bring a light umbrella if your plans include walks at sunset.

Central region

The weather will be hot during the day, with highs approaching 31°C (88°F), but with a higher probability of localized showers between Wednesday and Friday. The Escambray Mountains could receive heavier rainfall, ideal for those who enjoy the lush greenery of nature. Nights will be more humid, with temperatures around 23°C (73°F).

Eastern region

Eastern Cuba will have more stable weather, with plenty of sunshine and little rain. Temperatures will range between 26°C (79°F) and 32°C (90°F), with a higher heat index in cities like Santiago de Cuba. Gusts of wind from the mountains will bring cool air in the mornings, perfect for visiting places like Baconao Park.

Useful information for Travelers

✓ Recommended: Bring sunscreen (even on cloudy days), a hat and light clothing.

✓ Be aware: Showers can appear quickly, especially in mountainous areas.

✓ Ideal for beaches: The north and south coasts will have warm waters and calm waves.

Remember to check the weather forecast from the Meteorological Institute before heading out.
