Iberostar brings you jazz at Havana’s highest viewpoint every Thursday

In keeping with its proposal to integrate the Iberostar Selection La Habana hotel into the city’s cultural life, this coming Thursday, July 17, the Mallorcan company invites you to experience the first edition of JazzHabana on the 41st floor of the newly opened building.

The hotel chain announced on social media that the event “will cause a thrill every Thursday night,” and invited guests to let themselves be carried away “by the best chords and the magic of jazz in a unique atmosphere full of positive energy on the 41st floor of Habana Blues,” the highest viewpoint in Havana.

The post announces the performance of “Los Hermanos Abreu,” two promising young artists on the Cuban jazz and contemporary music scene.

Following its strategic vision, Iberostar Cuba Hotels & Resorts is expanding its urban accommodation portfolio. In addition to the three hotels it already manages in Cuba’s largest city, Havana is now also home to the Iberostar Selection La Habana, located on the prominent movie theater thoroughfare of 23rd Street.

The most iconic spaces of this facility have been identified with names associated with the world of film: on the ground level, the “Taxi Driver” restaurant is inspired by the 1976 US classic; the first-level lobby bar is reminiscent of the 1960s iconic Italian film, La Dolce Vita; the lower level will showcase classic Cuban films; the second-level buffet restaurant evokes Strawberry and Chocolate; one floor up, the poolside snack bar recalls Habanastation; the terrace on the 32nd floor, belonging to the executive area, will be known as “Habana Selfies”; and at the top of the tower, the “Habana Blues” Sky Bar will invite guests to discover new views of the city.

Iberostar had previously promised to offer “vibrant and varied experiences for travelers from around the world,” who choose an urban experience during their trip to Cuba. This Thursday is an opportunity to find out for yourself.
