A beautiful testament to commitment and professional passion was offered by the workers of the Brisas Guardalavaca hotel who, without waiting for the arrival of specialized beach cleaning equipment, dedicated all their energy to restoring the area devastated by Hurricane Melissa, following its passage through eastern Cuba on October 29.

The Tourism Training Center in Holguín shared the feat on social media, while detailing that one of the areas of the Guardalavaca resort most affected by Hurricane Melissa in the tourist destination of Holguín was this beautiful shell-shaped strip of beach.

Guardalavaca is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Cuba and the most important in the eastern region. Famous for its white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters, this Caribbean haven offers a tranquil atmosphere ideal for those seeking relaxation and connection with nature.

Its beaches—Guardalavaca, Esmeralda, and Pesquero—are perfect for swimming, diving or simply soaking up the sun.

Lush tropical vegetation and coral reefs distinguish this prime location for ecotourism and snorkeling.

Visitors can also explore nearby communities, learn about local traditions, and experience the warm hospitality of its people.
