Weather in Cuba: Pleasant temperatures after cold front

Next week, the weather in Cuba will be characterized by warm and humid conditions, typical of this time of year and ideal for enjoying the island’s natural and cultural beauty.
However, it is important to be prepared for some rain, especially toward the weekend.
The cold front currently moving through the eastern provinces is connected to the extratropical low that was formerly Hurricane Melissa.
Behind the front, a mass of drier, cooler and more stable air is causing a drop in temperatures. Early morning reports from the western and central regions indicated temperatures of 13-16°C.
Havana
Temperatures: Ranging between 24°C and 31°C.
Conditions: A sunny start to the week is expected, with some clouds in the afternoon. Light rain is possible toward the weekend.
Recommendation: Ideal for outdoor activities, but it is recommended to carry an umbrella over the weekend.
Varadero
Temperatures: Between 23°C and 30°C.
Conditions: Sunny days will predominate with cool sea breezes. Showers are possible in the afternoon toward the end of the week.
Recommendation: Perfect for enjoying the beaches, although you should be aware of the possibility of rain.
Cayo Coco
Temperatures: Range of 25°C to 32°C.
Conditions: Mostly sunny, with some clouds. Scattered showers are forecast toward the weekend.
Recommendation: Excellent for water activities and excursions, but it is advisable to check the weather before going out.
Santiago de Cuba
Temperatures: Between 24°C and 30°C.
Conditions: Sunny days are forecast, with a chance of rain in the afternoon, especially toward the weekend.
Recommendation: Many people are currently helping with the recovery efforts in the area, which suffered severe damage after Hurricane Melissa.
Trinidad
Temperatures: Between 23°C and 29°C.
Conditions: Mostly sunny, with some clouds. A chance of showers in the afternoons, especially toward the weekend.
Recommendation: Perfect for enjoying the colonial architecture and surrounding nature, but it is advisable to carry an umbrella.
