Asia-Havana Event: The Habano experience with the taste of Cuba
Today, more than 30 participants visited the El Divino cigar farm for a tasting

A visit to the El Divino cigar farm for a cigar tasting and a cigar rolling competition supervised by master cigar rollers is the proposal for today’s Asia-Havana Event, designed by the Caracol Commercial Enterprise S.A. to promote some of the most attractive typical Cuban products to international tourism.
As part of the program, attendees visited the Partagás Tobacco Factory yesterday, one of the oldest and most prestigious in Cuba.In a statement to the online magazine TTC, Chiba Keinichi, one of the attendees from Japan, where he runs a cigar bar, stated:
“I’ve been to these factories on other occasions, but today I saw spaces I hadn’t seen before. In Asia, most smokers are in China; in Japan, they are a minority, and they gather in small groups in tobacco shops, people with a good economic situation.”
At Partagás, they toured every space in the facility, from the room where the Vueltabajo leaves reach the perfect moisture level; through the selection process based on color and size; the gallery that protects the rolling of the vitolas; to the sorting tables for the final selection before banding.
More than 30 people are participating in this fourth edition of the event, organized by the Caracol Este Vedado Commercial Branch and the Casa del Habano at the Habana Libre Tryp hotel.
Special attention has been given to the Asian market, and specifically to China, the main consumer of Habanos cigars in that region, according to data provided by the joint venture Habanos S.A. in 2025 during its International Festival.Attendees also include travelers from Europe and America.
